‘La Quinta’ refers to the great vineyard estates of Portugal which are famous for their production of dessert wines—wines that were an inspiration for our family to craft an outstanding ruby port in Paso Robles, CA.

Our Vineyards
La Quinta Syrah Port is produced exclusively from Syrah grapes grown in Paso Robles. The warm, dry climate of Paso Robles allows for the thorough maturation of grapes with ripe, concentrated flavors. California Brandy is added to the juice and the wine is then aged in French and American oak for at least two years. This maturation period concentrates flavors and adds complexity resulting in a bold, fruit-driven flavor.
